Insadong Geujip, located in the famous neighbourhood of Insadong, is a Korean fusion restaurant that is particularly well known for its traditional, yet unique interior. Along with “Insadong Seafood Rice,” and “Insadong Geujip On Rice”, diners can find a range of delicacies including Hanbang Bossam (Herbal Napa Wraps with Pork), Savory Seafood & Spring Onion Pancake, and Kimchi Parae Pancake on the menu.

The restaurant's specialty, Geujip On Rice, a sort of Bibimbab made with a variety of seafood, vegetables and edible flowers and mixed together with rice and a red pepper paste called gochujang. The basic serving size is large enough to feed two.

The restaurant is housed in an old hanok (Korean traditional house) and has been carefully renovated to preserve the house’s traditional feel. Indoor lights wrapped with hanji, Korean traditional paper, shine a soft glow over the entire dining area and add to the overall ambience.

This hanok (traditional Korean house) is located behind Seochon Food Street, located near Gyeongbokgung Station on Seoul Subway Line 3. It is located only 5 min away by foot from the station. Opening the door brings one to a small garden, furnished with stones and moss on a corner, and the interior also speaks to the unique combination of a modern hanok with contemporary sensibilities. The building is divided into the main building and annex building, with the former having two queen bedrooms connected by a living room and kitchen as well as two bathrooms.
The annex building is the hidden jewel of STAY dayoff, which houses a bathtub and a sauna facility behind a beautiful window wall. When the windows are opened, it is like being in an open-air bath overlooking the garden and the hanok. Université des femmes Ewha (이화여자대학교)

L'université des femmes Ewha est le plus ancien institut éducatif pour femmes du pays. Il fut fondé par Mary F. Scranton en 1886, une missionaire américaine de l'église épiscopale méthodiste. Le nom de l'école “Ewha” fut donné par l'empereur Gojong (le 26ème roi de la dynastie Joseon, 1863~1907). Les trois vertues promues par l'université sont la vérité, la bonté et la beauté. En 1910, un curriculum de 4 années fut introduit mais en 1943, durant le règne colonial japonais, l'école fut privée de son nom “Ewha” et devint un simple institut avec une durée d'enseignement d'un an. Lorsque la Corée fut libérée en 1945, l'école reprit son nom et devint officiellement Ewha Womans University.

Le quartier de l'université féminine Ewha est un des quartier phare de la ville pour le shopping. Les magasins du quartier vendent des vêtements bon marchés et branchés pour les jeunes. Les restaurants du quartier reflètent le goût des jeunes coréennes, on y trouve de nombreuses chaines de restaurants internationales. Les petites rues du quartier valent également la peine d'être visitées. On y trouve plein de magasins d'accessoires, de petites boutiques de vêtements, de magasins de chaussures, de cafés et de coiffeurs.
