Especially, Daecheongmaru adds the beauty of the margins of hanok to give you a sense of refreshment. As the old scholars did, sitting on the pavilion makes the time flow slow and the wind that passes over the Sotdae feels special.
In addition, you can experience the beauty of Korean tradition with various programs such as tea ceremony, jjimjilbang, royal robes, and kimchi-making along with traditional Korean food. Rakkojae's accommodation, reminiscent of a nobleman's house in the Joseon Dynasty, is well-kept and comfortable that it is comparable to a luxury hotel, and the natural jade-covered ondol rooms and firewood jjimjilbangs made of cheongito provide a healthy journey for many guests.

Ice Gallery est la première galerie de sculptures sur glace au monde qui est ouverte toute l’année. Située en face de la bibliothèque Jeongdok au centre de Séoul (Hwa-dong, Jongno-gu), elle expose de nombreuses sculptures de glace sur des thèmes saisonniers. Les visiteurs peuvent profiter d’un hiver frais à une température constante de -5°C. Certaines des expositions explorent le thème de la beauté traditionnelles, comme par exemple Sungryemun (l’ancienne porte Sud de Séoul), le village de hanoks de Bukchon ou Dabotap (pagode de pierre). Elle propose également d’amusantes sculptures sur glace , comme la pension de glace, l’igloo et le toboggan de glace. Les visiteurs peuvent participer à des programmes de sculpture sur glace, fabriquer leur propre tasse en glace et devenir eux-même une sculpture de glace (saladier, igloo et plus encore).

The Hanok Smith Likes is an Italian restaurant that can be found in an alley near the Embassy of the Republic of Poland. The restaurant is famous for serving homemade Italian cuisine in traditional Korean house in Samcheong-dong.
The Smith in the restaurant’s name refers to a Mr. Smith, a virtual person cooks his favorite dishes in a hanok. One of the interesting aspects about this restaurant is that they serve hwadeok pizza (brick oven pizza) and pastas which are not the Korean dishes one might expect given the hanok exterior. They also serve salads, risotto, steak and wine at the restaurant. Particularly, the nighttime atmosphere of the restaurant offers a more serene and cozy experience thanks to the traditional hanok architecture.

Nakseonjae (낙선재)

Le pavillon Nakseonjae est composé de 6 espaces en façade et de 2 espaces sur les parties latérales construit sur le modèle 'ikgong'. Le pavillon faisait partie initialement du palais Changgyeongung mais est désormais considéré comme une partie du palais Changdeokgung. Le bâtiment a été construit en 1846 et est composé au total de trois bâtiments.
