Namwon House is located on the 3rd floor of Wonjo Minsok Sundae Town. Namwon is the hometown of the original owner who started Namwon House for the first time, which is now operated by his relative. Namwon House’s specialty is its fried Sundae cooked with various vegetables, Pyogo mushrooms, and squid. The scent of Pyogo mushrooms gives off a wonderful aroma. Le marché de Séoul est le plus grand marché en Corée spécialisé dans les herbes médicinales et ce depuis la fin des années 50. Le marché s’est créé lorsque les négociants en herbes médicinales venus des 4 coins du pays se sont réunis dans la région de Jegi-dong, de Dongdaemun-gu et de Yongdu-dong.
Il y a approximativement 1 000 sections comprenant des hôpitaux traditionnels, des magasins d’herbes médicinales, des grossistes d'herbes médicinales et des stations de fraisage. Le marché qui a récemment intégré des magasins spécialisés dans la vente du ginseng, d'aliments naturels et de poissons séchés, est maintenant devenu plus grand que le marché de Daegu Yakryeongsi vieux de 350 ans.

Connu comme marché d’échange pour 70% des herbes médicinales de la Corée, le marché de Gyeongdong vous propose toutes sortes d'herbes coréennes, tels que le réglisse en bâton, le ginseng et beaucoup d'autres herbes ou plantes médicinales souvent difficiles à trouver ailleurs. Les herboristes ne vendent pas simplement leurs produits mais donnent aussi des conseils et des prescriptions médicales aux clients pour qui ils peuvent préparer des décoctions en poudres, en pilules, etc.

Informations sur les prix
Les herbes médicinales sont préparées et envoyées directement au marché de Gyeongdongn c'est pourquoi vous pouvez les acheter à un prix de 20 à 40% moins chers que le prix normal. Consulter le panneau "les conseils sur les prix du marché” devant la première arche dans le marché de Gyeongdeong. Ces indications sur 30 à 40 plantes empêchent la surtaxe car les prix fluctuent en fonction du taux de change et de la moisson.
Les mois d’octobre, novembre et décembre sont les meilleurs mois pour acheter des herbes médicinales coréennes. La plupart des herbes médicinales coréennes apparaissent en grandes quantités à la fin de l’automne sur le marché et sont donc moins chères, mais quelle que soit la saison la qualité est toujours garantie sur ce marché.

Heures d’ouverture
La plupart des magasins ouvrent de 9 heures jusqu'à 18h30 mais certains ferment parfois encore plus tard pour les clients noctambules. Le marché est fermé le 1er et le 3e dimanche de chaque mois.
